Burst My Bubble - #DMCCL Part 6

Ever heard the phrase “bubble life”? I have and I apply it. FYI- It’s usually met with a negative connotation...Google it.
A few years ago, Dana dropped by to check in because she hadn’t heard from me nor had she seen me on social media. Without any enthusiasm, I informed her that I was living my bubble life. WIth shock, concern, and intrigue, she boldly demanded an explanation. For me, it’s a time to unplug. It includes isolation, insulation, interrogation, and inspiration. It allows me to return renewed, refreshed, and rebuilt; it’s my retreat.
While reluctant to accept my bubble, she prayed for me. She respected my boundaries and watched for results. It became our inside joke with her nicknaming me “little bubble girl”. She understood this was my time to recharge & rediscover myself.
Like Jesus, Dana is more than one thing. She is a mother, model, singer, and actress - to name a few things. She likes Harleys, chitterlings, and travel. Her life has been like a movie, during the pandemic - she identifies her triggers, owns her flaws, and is doing the work. Shoot, the only thing she isn’t is a carpenter - hold up - she knows how to fix a flat so I need to ask about her carpentry skills... Check her out in her own words:
