Howdy Misfits! 💜
In an effort to take my own advice, I am working on my flaws, scars, and insecurities. That includes being who I need me to be. It also includes finding a safe space (other than my journal) to make sure I am not a Looney Tune 🤣. It even includes sharing and posting more 🙈🙉🙊.
My therapist described me as rigid (Google it). He went on to say that rigidity is a sign of fear. Who knew 🥴? Was I in denial about the fear? 🧐 IDK 🤷🏿♀️, that's a blog for another day - moving on. Outside of failure, needles, fireworks, & guns...what is Corrine afraid of? 🤔 I am afraid to trust myself...afraid to trust my gifts. I'm afraid to to leap into uncertainty. That was difficult to say and to uncover 😖. His advice was: *Give only out of strength; giving out of lack is a recipe for disaster. *Assess your internal & external threats. *Develop a non-judgmental attitude about you - past & present. *Find ways to trust your self. *Pray & meditate often.
Lesson: Fear is short term. Frustration is long term. (Dharius Daniels said that.)
Did I trust myself today? Yes, so far, so good. Do you trust you?

@Tamiko GOODDDDD STUFF HERE SIS 💯👏🏾
Ok I’m ready to share my a little of my answer.... I found that I trust myself with the easy stuff like my life, my sense of fashion, my career, my family, etc. But what I found the hardest thing to trust myself with is relationships (men & women) and connections. What I mean by that is I love hard and sometimes it’s not reciprocated. I want people to be the best version of themselves and I find that not everyone wants the same for me. I trust my intuition, discernment and even trust me to do the right thing at times. Fear plays a major part in my trust or lack there of. Securities as well as insecurities... It’s so muc…
Heavy!!!! Good question though! 🤔
Most definitely
@Tamiko OHHHH THIS SO DOPE! Dig deep Sis! 😘 I hope you share some of it with us 💜
