The Process: Trust it or Nah?

Updated: Jun 17, 2020

"Better to trust the man who is frequently in error than the one who is never in doubt."

--Eric Sevareid

One day, in the blink of an eye, life was different. I was on a collision course of chaos and change - caused by a work injury to my husband. That moment altered our faith, our health, our hearts, mindsets, children, fiances, and our marriage. It happened in July 2015...

As 2020 arrives, we survived and we're grateful. Lemme just say that - the process is a painful place - and I am uncertain that I trust it LOL!

During the process, I pondered many paths, perspectives, and purpose. Purpose being my lingering question; to which I have no answers. It isn't until you're susceptible to the process, having all you thought you knew stripped away, that you are pressed to practice "trusting the process".

I don't remember where I heard it but "the process precedes the promise". This is a profound lesson, in and of itself - to me, anyway; I learned it after the process. These things I reluctantly learned in the process:

*prayer, perseverance & patience.

*self-awareness & self-sufficiency.

*altitude, attitude, & aptitude.

*courage to speak candidly.

*people pleasing disrupts peace.

Ever been unsure of an outcome? Ever found yourself in a state of uncertainty? Ever been in a situation where you have had to trust a process that had little or nothing to do with you but affected you? Ever felt alone? How did you beat the odds? I need answers folks...
